Sony SmartWatch

The Sony Smart Watch is a wearable device that connects to an Android smartphone and can display Twitter feeds, SMS, among other things. It is also known as MN2SW. This watch uses a flexible silicone wristband with multiple colors available.

Sony has launched the Smart Watch 2 (SW2), successor of the first Smart Watch in India. Sony Smart Watch 2 launched in India for Rs. 14,990.

Smart Watch 2 is made up of aluminium (body) and wristband made up of silicon or stainless steel. Smart watch 2 was announced at the Mobile Asia Expo back in June. It has 1.6-inch (220 ×176 pixels) transflective LCD display.

Smart Watch 2 has Bluetooth 3.0.It has also NFC to connect to Android smartphones running on Android 4.0 (ICS) and later. It weighs 122.5 grams and has IP57 ratings for water resistance.

Smart Watch 2 also includes these features :

  • It take a photo remotely from SmartWatch, using a smart camera app.
  • It quickly adjust the tracks and volume on music player.
  • IT Control r presentations remotely using Presentation Pal.
  • During driving or running select a mapping app on SmartWatch to check route with a quick glance at your wrist.
  • It is useful for reading previously downloaded e-mails when not connected to phone.
  • It use lifestyle apps like Runtastic to map and instantly track your fitness activities on the go.

The SmartWatch 2 is cheaper 33 percent. At about $200. It can work with a variety of Android phones, not just Sony’s.
